1. POC Power Supply Options

• Two Modes (Selected by J6):

  • DC Socket:

    • Requires external 12V/1A adapter.

    • Use J5 to select 12V or 5V for POC power (factory default: 5V to protect client modules).

  • Test Box Power Supply:

    • No external adapter needed.

    • POC voltage configured via AP settings (J5 disabled).

    • For UC930 test box, POC range: 4V–18V.

2. MAX9296 Chip Power Supply

• Four power rails (must be supplied by test box):

  • AFVCC & DVDD: Fixed at 1.2V (AP setting).

  • AVDD: Fixed at 1.8V (AP setting).

  • DOVDD: Adjustable (1.8V–3.3V as needed).

• Warning: Ensure voltages are set correctly before power-on to avoid chip damage.

3. Interface

• 44-pin dual-row header (2.54mm pitch) for MIPI interface compatibility with test boxes.

4. MAX9296 Pairing Flexibility

• Supports GMSL1/GMSL2 serializers but requires different register configurations for each serializer model.

5. DIP Switch Configuration

• 4-in-1 DIP switch: Each switch controls a unique hardware function.

• Rules:

  • Only one switch can be set to ON at a time.

  • Re-power the board after changing DIP settings for changes to take effect.

Key Recommendations:

• Verify POC voltage requirements of the module under test before selecting power mode.

• Double-check MAX9296 power rail settings in the AP configuration to prevent damage.

• Follow DIP switch guidelines to avoid conflicts in register initialization.
