Camera Function Test Image Frame Grabber Dothinkey

 

Dothinkey Image Frame Grabber can test the following functions of the camera module:

 

1. Image acquisition and transmission

MIPI channel test:

Dothinkey UC930, MU960Pro and other Image Grabber supports high-speed MIPI channel, which can test data transmission under different Lane counts, such as the highest support for 4LANE, the data bandwidth up to 1.5Gbps/LANE or 1.6Gbps/LANE, etc., to ensure the stability and accuracy of the camera module in high-speed data transmission.


Parallel port module testing:

Support standard parallel port module testing, parallel port bit width can support up to 16bit, which meets the testing requirements of traditional parallel port camera modules.


DVS module test:

Supports DVS module test, and the bit width of parallel DVS module can support up to 16bit, which can be used to test the data acquisition and transmission performance of camera modules based on DVS technology.


Image format support:

Supports a variety of image formats, such as RGB565, YUV422, RAW8, RAW10, RAW12, RAW14, RAW16, etc., which can comprehensively evaluate the camera module's ability to process and output different image formats.

 

2. Power supply and current detection
Multiple power supply and detection:

For example, UC930 Image Frame Grabber has seven independent high-precision and low-noise digital DC Sensor power supplies, which can provide accurate power supply for different parts of camera module and detect the standby currents of each power supply, such as AVDD, DOVDD, VPP2, etc., and some of the power supply channels also support the power supply and current acquisition of TOF module.


High Current Detection Accuracy:

Several Image Frame Grabbers are equipped with current detection technology at the level of precision instruments, with a minimum resolution of 10nA, which can accurately measure the dynamic, static and standby currents of the Sensor, helping to evaluate the power consumption performance and power management capability of the camera module.

 

3. Open and Short Circuit Detection
High-precision OS test:

Equipped with high-precision Open/Short detection technology, the Image Frame Grabber supports up to multi-channel open/short circuit detection, such as the F22Pro Test Box supports 292-channel OS test, the Image Frame Grabber supports 294-channel OS test, and the Image Frame Grabber supports up to 33-channel open/short circuit detection, and can accurately determine open/short circuit problems in hardware connections through the flexible setting of the OS test voltage and test current. Through flexible OS test voltage settings and test current settings, it can accurately determine the open and short circuit problems in the hardware connection and ensure the quality of the circuit connection of the camera module.

 

4.Special Function Test
TOF Module Support:

It supports power supply and current acquisition of TOF module, such as MU960Pro, UC930 and other Image Frame Grabber, which can meet the testing requirements of TOF camera module in range-finding, 3D modeling and other applications.


Small resistance test:

F22Pro and GQ4A Image Frame Grabber support small resistance measurement, which is suitable for the resistance test of the module bracket, and can detect the welding quality and contact resistance of the module bracket, so as to ensure the reliability of the module's electrical connection.


I3C Bus Communication:

Some Image Frame Grabber supports I3C SDR communication modes, such as F22Pro, GQ4A, etc., which supports high-speed communication between camera modules and hosts, and meets the future needs of camera modules for higher data transmission rates and more efficient communication protocols.


LP Threshold Voltage Adjustment:

It supports LP Threshold Voltage Adjustment, which can be adjusted according to the LP Threshold Voltage Adjustment of different modules to intercept modules with unqualified LP Voltage, accurately control the quality of the modules, and ensure the stability and reliability of the modules in low-power consumption mode.
